Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Counter Customer Service Representative that has experience assisting customers with selecting and purchasing cabinetry, hardware, tools and other construction materials that a builder might purchase when installing kitchens, bathrooms, storage units or other parts of the home. The desired candidate must have a professional appearance with excellent verbal communication, computer skills, work well in a team environment and willing to learn the items in the show room or in the catalogue, would have experience working with home building supplies and builders is a plus.
•This is not a retail job, we are looking for someone with experience B2B Duties Assist walk in customers in the show room & with orders in the catalogue Understand the customers needs so you can suggest specific items that they might be searching for Answer phone calls from customers placing orders as well as provide sales quotes & entering claims and returns into the computer system Entry data into the computer system (AS400, Microsoft Office) Must be a professional that works well with customers, and all other team members Qualifications Experience providing professional customer service by phone or in-person, sitting at a desk for long periods of time Knowledge, or curiosity with the ability to learn, about interior design, cabinetry, millwork, kitchen and bath design, or closets Good general math ability; comfortable and adept at working with precise numbers and calculations Excellent communication skills, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with all customers Thorough and committed to providing top-quality service to the customers, in accordance with our first core value: Customer Focus AS400 (database) experience is preferred but not mandatory Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook) High school graduate or equivalent required; additional college or educational courses may be helpful This position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to or more than 50 pounds. Must work well with the team

8am-5pm
Monday-Friday Pay:
$18-$20/hr. based on experience temp to hire
