Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Producer to join our office. The ideal candidate will build strong client relationships, help clients understand their insurance needs, and provide exceptional service while supporting day-to-day office operations. This role may be full-time or part-time and is ideal for someone who is licensed (or willing to become licensed) and enjoys a sales-and-service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and contact potential clients through assigned leads, networking, and outreach to generate new business Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance products (auto, home, life, and other offerings as applicable) Follow up with prospective and existing clients to maintain relationships and ensure timely service Provide excellent customer service, including answering policy questions and assisting with service requests Process applications, policy changes, endorsements, and billing/service updates according to office procedures Work closely with the team to schedule and coordinate appointments for clients and the agent Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, and processing incoming/outgoing mail and packages Maintain accurate records in internal systems and support the team with additional tasks as needed Maintain detailed, timely notes and documentation so all team members clearly understand each customer's account status and next steps
Qualifications:
Must hold a current insurance license OR be willing to obtain required licensing Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized Sales aptitude and comfort discussing insurance products and solutions Experience in insurance, sales, or customer service is preferred, but motivated candidates are welcome High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus Strong computer/technology skills , including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel), and the ability to learn new software quickly
Work Schedule:
This position will start as part-time during training (approximately 20-25 hours per week). After training, the schedule may move to full-time for the right candidate, based on office needs and performance.
