Job Description
Located in Elk Grove Village, our client is seeking a new team member with versatility! The Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely inquiry resolution, and support in warehouse operations. The role also requires warehouse duties - candidates must be experienced and flexible with both aspects of the role. 1.
Office Functions:
Customer Interaction:
Answer customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information.Issue Resolution:
Address customer complaints or concerns, working to resolve them efficiently and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.Order Management:
Help customers place orders, track orders, provide updates, and ensure orders are delivered on time.Product Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products or services to effectively guide customers in making informed decisions.Escalation:
Identify when issues need to be escalated to higher management and ensure follow-up until the issue is resolved.Documentation:
Maintain customer interaction records, update customer information (Purchase Orders and Sales orders), and document service requests or complaints. Bookkeeping backup (A/R, A/P basic knowledge) 2. Warehouse Tasks (Support / Backup)Receiving Inventory:
Receive and check incoming shipments, verifying that all items match the purchase orders, packing slips, or invoices.Counting and Verification:
Accurately count and inspect all incoming inventory for damage, discrepancies, or shortages, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.Order Fulfillment:
Support the warehouse with back orders / big orders, picking, packing, and shipping.Pay Details:
