Our dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction has been key to our success. We are now looking to add a Customer Support Specialist to our team at our Elk Grove Village location. We offer a broad range of packaging solutions, including custom designs and materials, to meet the evolving needs of our clients. As a Customer Support Specialist , you will be the primary point of contact between our company and clients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience with every interaction. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, managing orders, resolving issues, and providing accurate product information, all while maintaining professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to address customer concerns while upholding exceptional service standards.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, phone inquiries, and other communication channels. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to support product performance and client satisfaction Manage the complete customer order lifecycle from acceptance to shipment and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Maintain visibility on customer forecasts, monitor adherence to pricing, lead times, and finished goods collection. Oversee the smooth flow of goods, ensuring well-organized and efficient administrative preparation. Regularly coordinate with the warehouse and production planning teams to ensure seamless operations. Clearly and professionally communicate production material requirements to customers. Generate and process pre-production and post-production reports for customer-owned materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to add value.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in customer service, preferably within a manufacturing environment. 1 year off troubleshooting experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience using CRM software and other customer support tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
