Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a seamless stay for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of hotel operations.Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle room assignments, check-out procedures, and any other guest-related tasks.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization at the front desk and surrounding areas.
- Manage guest requests and complaints, escalating issues as necessary.
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling front desk transactions and preparing for the next day.
- Stay knowledgeable about hotel policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality when handling guest information.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and provide exceptional customer service over the phone.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel operations, including hotel management systems.
Experience:
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices is essential.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
