You'll be responsible for creating insurance policies, advising potential clients on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies. You'll also help resolve billing issues, change policies, and make policy recommendations. Compensation:
$60,000 - $120,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies Track current marketing activities, so you can appropriately respond to insurance-related inquiries with all of the resources at your disposal Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved
Qualifications:
A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred Understands how to utilize a database for processing client information and how to use Microsoft Office to create necessary documents Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills Previous customer service experience required for this position About Company We are an independent insurance agency located in Lafayette.
