Job Duties This person will be conducting visual field tests with the patients. This test checks the patient's peripheral vision. Will also be cross-trained in other areas of the eye clinic as well. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service. Experience using computers, business software, and data entry systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Must have prior medical office experience, preferably optometry industry experience. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service, call center, retail, office support, or administrative experience is preferred. Experience working with CRM software, order processing systems, or customer databases is beneficial. Bilingual communication skills may be considered an asset depending on the position. Individuals who demonstrate patience, professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are well positioned for success as a Visual Field Technician.
