Job Description
SLENT is looking for a friendly and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our dynamic team. The Call Center Representative will be the first point of contact for patients calling to schedule appointments, inquire about services, and ask questions related to their care. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from patients and provide accurate information regarding appointments, services, and procedures. Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments with efficiency and attention to detail. Assist patients with inquiries related to billing, insurance, and medical records, directing them to the appropriate department if necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth communication process. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling patient concerns and requests. A team player with a positive attitude and a focus on patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare scheduling processes is a plus. Why Join SLENT?
