Job Description

The Healthcare Call Center Representative assists healthcare providers, including doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies, with prescription approvals for insured patients. The role starts with processing inbound faxes to verify prescription information and progresses to handling provider inquiries via phone in a call center environment.

Work Arrangement:

Paid Training:
First month of training is on-site and fully paid Base pay for this role is $20.50/hour
Responsibilities:
Review inbound faxes from healthcare providers regarding prescription coverage requests Verify that all required information (e.g., provider details, patient data, medication dosage) is complete Accurately enter prescription request details into the system for coverage determination Handle inbound phone calls from providers to collect and verify prescription information (approximately 20 calls per day) Maintain professionalism and clear communication while assisting providers Ensure accuracy by following structured processes and reviewing member information for discrepancies
Qualifications:
6+ months of customer service experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance-related customer service roles Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally with healthcare providers High attention to detail for verifying prescription and patient information accurately Ability to attend on-site training just south of Boston, MA in Hingham, MA There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
