B-G Mechanical is part of Equans MEP Services, a mechanical, HVAC, distributed energy, and project delivery solutions-provider subsidiary of Equans North America. Purpose Serve as a liaison between the Service department and our customers. Consistently maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely responses to a variety of customer repair and parts requests. This individual will interface and communicate effectively with all internal and external service customers. Essential Job Functions Provide quotes to internal and external customers Create and maintain quote log and individual quote files Utilize current repair quotes cost estimating system. Coordinate and schedule through dispatch the timely implementation of approved customer quotations Ensure that all labor and material costs are correctly included in estimates Gain and utilize a knowledge of subcontractor and HVAC supplier contacts Assist the accounting team with accurate repair quote costs for billing Communicate clearly with all groups within the Service Department Compile and issue installation, operation and owners' manuals from suppliers when required Update the Service Manager on a weekly basis Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma, Associate's Degree is preferred, or combination of equivalent education and related experience 2-3 years of experience as a Service Writer or related HVAC Service experience Experience in the construction industry preferred Proficient in MS Office and other required software applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact with customers and vendors in a professional manner Ability to multi-task in a changing environment Self-motivated, ability to perform tasks with little or no direction Excellent time management and organizational skills At B-G Mechanical, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
