Job Description
As the first point of contact for our practice, our friendly call center staff helps ensure that each patient receives superior-quality care. Must have customer service experience, basic computer knowledge, and be able to handle multiple incoming calls to:
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for patients throughout the day
- Triage all patient phone calls to determine urgency of appointment
- Obtain patient history, demographics, and insurance information to update the patient's file
- Obtain insurance authorizations/referrals and check eligibility for appointments Candidates must have excellent telephone etiquette, be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and always maintain patient professionalism.
