JOB DESCRIPTION
Title:
Pharmacy Customer Service Representative General:
Provide fast, efficient, friendly, courteous, service for the customer.
Reports To:
Pharmacy Customer Service Supervisor Job Classification:
Non-exempt Hours:
Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays will be required to meet staffing needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintains customer awareness when in any areas of the company and assists the customer or seeks assistance for them.
  • Greets and communicates with employees and non-employees in a friendly courteous manner.
  • Seeks help from your supervisor when you have reached your limitations.
  • Performs as a team member by assisting co-workers with their duties.
  • Knows the employee manual.
  • Knows department policies and procedures within the limitations of your job.
  • Knows the department's services and inventory and the availability of inventory if not in stock.
  • Knows the company's other inventory and services.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned or as added in job description.
  • Maintains a safe, neat, and organized work area.
  • Receives customer sales and service requests and satisfies request by selling or servicing with the proper merchandise or coordinates with other departments or personnel to meet the customer's needs.
  • Closes transactions by collecting proper amount of money or making the proper charge.
  • Stocks shelves with incoming inventory.
  • Maintains shelves relating to cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Alerts supervisor of problems relating to customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Working with Lottery Sales.
  • Ensures that departmental schedules are followed, and deadlines are met.
  • If/when functioning as the most senior pharmacy customer service rep. on duty, you are also responsible for assisting the supervisors with register voids, cashing lottery tickets, and closing registers.
  • Learns and operates the company telephone system; using proper telephone etiquette in the process.
Qualifications:
Age:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for 8 - 10-hour shifts. Must be able to easily stoop or bend and lift 35 pounds. Must be able to use a ladder/step stool. Requires lifting of equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds.
Background:
Must not appear on The Medicare list of sanctioned individuals. No criminal record. Must not appear on the sex offender list.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you available to work evenings and Saturdays? Are you able to work two full-time (40-hour) weeks for the initial training period?
