Job Details Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is seeking a Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team in Auburn, ME. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Summary The Retail Customer Service Representative:
Learns the products and services offered by Bedard, the computer systems used, and the guidelines and regulations required by federal, state, and accrediting organizations. Maintains assembling and merchandising of floor displays daily to include restocking, recovery, and freight put away. Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized working and shopping environment by keeping floors and shelves clean and free of debris, dust, etc. Opens and closes the POS system and assists in opening and closing the medical equipment front store. Maintains front counter coverage during operating hours. Greets all customers (upon entrance, via phone, and via email) and triages the needs of each person and ensures their needs are met. The customer may be with the client, a caregiver, a referral source, or a commercial account. Educates and assists customers with selecting the products that best suit their needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent General office skills (computer, computer-based phone lines, typing, and filing) Proficient in or ability to learn Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams), NikoHealth, DocuTrack, and DocuSign Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening), and good command of written and oral English Ability to work well in high-volume, fast-paced environment Ability to adapt to changes in environment and/or workflow Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail Ability to make independent decisions Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with customers, facility staff, and co-workers Ability to process cash/credit card payments accurately and efficiently Clerical or customer service experience preferred Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing, bookkeeping, or medical office experience preferred Physical Requirements Standing, walking, and/or sitting for sustained periods of time, raising objects from a lower to a higher position and/or moving objects horizontally Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching Company Overview Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies has over 125 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
