About the role As a Customer Specialist, your focus is creating consistently exceptional experiences and lasting relationships with customers. This role delivers a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, be collaborative, engaging, and take initiative. The impact you can have In this role, you'll have the opportunity to: Initiate authentic conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service. Partner with the team to deliver a customer-centered experience that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. Share your knowledge of Chico's products and services with customers to outfit and inspire them. Cultivate long-term customer relationships through proactive outreach about new products, promotions, and in-store events. Create a seamless omnichannel experience by utilizing available tools. Contribute to overall store performance by staying accountable to personal goals. Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration. Build connections with the local community through events, outreach, and initiatives that expand Chico's presence. You'll bring to the role Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence. Must be at least 18 years old. Retail or sales experience preferred. Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent customer service and active listening skills. Ability to build strong customer and peer relationships. Team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative. Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
