Kildea Marathon is a locally family owned business that began as a leader in the automotive repair industry in 1966.
Overview:
Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of his or her shift, within company policy, in such a manner as to ensure that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store. Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to: Ability to perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level in order to be able to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of a variety of products during vendor check-in Have sufficient visual acuity to check identification Ability to read and understand instructions for operating cash register, adding machine, and other basic office machines and equipment Ability to stock shelves, coolers, and ice machine Ability to react to a fire by lifting a fire extinguisher weighing 25 pounds and moving it over the fire area Ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning materials Ability to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers and place in an outside bin Ability to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the convenience store Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 40 degrees for up to 30 minutes at a time Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or hazmat situation Follows company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines Ability to work alone
Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Education:
Ability to speak and understand English, including the ability to hear the spoken word Ability to read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level Must be at least 18 years of age
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Currently looking for help 25-30 hours per week, must include weekend availability (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). 2nd Shift is generally 3p-midnight - Primary location
