Duties Operate cash registers accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits of various items. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing products to ensure an attractive shopping environment. Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing sales or special offers to maximize store revenue. Maintain accurate cash drawer handling, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and balance registers at shift end. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support team members with supervising experience by guiding new staff and ensuring store policies are followed. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred, especially with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous. Experience with cashiering, retail math, cash handling, and managing cash drawers confidently.
