Job Description

Chevrolet of Spring Valley is looking to add a Parts Counter/Service Advisor to its team. This role serves as a primary customer contact for the dealership and is responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate vehicle services, repairs, parts, and accessories, and preparing accurate estimates, orders, and related documentation. Listen to customers, ask effective questions, and accurately identify vehicle concerns, parts needs, and required service or repairs. Recommend appropriate maintenance, repairs, parts, accessories, and related services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Prepare accurate estimates for labor, parts, repairs, maintenance, and accessories, and obtain required customer authorization for additional work. Create and manage repair orders, parts orders, estimates, authorizations, pricing, and supporting documentation in accordance with dealership procedures. Identify and verify the correct vehicle parts using VINs, vehicle specifications, parts catalogs, and approved information systems. Process retail, wholesale, special-order, backorder, emergency, and will-call parts orders accurately and efficiently. Communicate parts availability, pricing, delivery expectations, and payment requirements to retail and wholesale customers. Support service and parts sales objectives by identifying appropriate opportunities for maintenance, repairs, parts, accessories, and additional services. Required Qualifications Possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience in automotive repair/parts Strong knowledge of automotive repair in a dealership setting Chevrolet of Spring Valley is looking for the best people to join our award-winning team!
