Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Customer Service Associate Lead, where your leadership and customer-focused skills will drive store success! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations, motivate and guide team members, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. Your expertise in retail management, sales strategies, and team development will be essential to creating a vibrant, efficient store environment. Duties Lead and supervise retail sales associates, fostering a motivated and high-performing team through effective training, coaching, and communication. Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and ensuring operational efficiency. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing to optimize product presentation and availability. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to resolve issues promptly. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing prospective employees and conducting employee orientation sessions. Assist with payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and maintaining accurate sales records to support store financial health. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and managing sales data accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within the retail industry. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in team management and training & development. Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control software, and basic math for sales calculations and budgeting. Ability to perform under pressure with excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience with operational management tasks such as purchasing, merchandising, stock control, and marketing strategies. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable; familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, and store operations is essential.
