Job Description
The City of Oak Grove is accepting applications for a full-time Customer Service Rep/Permit Technician. This position reviews permit applications for correct and complete content and issues permits, as authorized. Schedules inspections, receives, logs, distributes building plans for plan examination. Conducts duties for the Community Development Department including attending Planning and Zoning Meetings. Performs data entry and related operations in posting accounts receivable payments. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, detail oriented, quick learner with exceptional customer service, excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with integrity and dedication to service. Prefer previous customer service, accounts receivable experience and strong people skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Proficient with office equipment and various software. High school graduate or equivalent. Start range $19.44 to $20.95/hrly DOQ plus full benefits package.
