About Us Eastern Carolina Insurance is a locally owned independent insurance agency representing multiple top-rated carriers. We're dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most through personalized coverage and outstanding service. We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This position supports both personal and commercial insurance clients and offers training, licensing assistance, and career growth opportunities within the agency. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients via phone, email, and in person Process policy changes, renewals, certificates, and ID cards Assist clients with billing questions, claims reporting, and coverage inquiries Support both personal and commercial lines teams with day-to-day service needs Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system Collaborate with agents to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction Qualifications Prior insurance or customer service experience preferred, but training will be provided Willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty license within 90 days (agency support provided) Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with employer match Training and licensing support provided Career advancement opportunities (Account Manager, Producer, or Specialist roles) Continuing education and professional development Schedule Monday to Friday In-office How to Apply If you're ready to start or grow your career in insurance with a supportive, community-focused team, we'd love to hear from you!
