96 Shades has been in business for 17 years. We own 7 stores throughout the Jersey Shore and one in Key West, Florida. Our products range from high end frames, kids frames, to sunglass accessories. We cater to giving our customers a friendly, professional experience while helping them find the perfect pair of shades. At 96 Shades all of our team members stay up to date on product knowledge and fashion trends to ensure the best customer experience in a clean, comfortable atmosphere.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sunglass Specialist to join our team at 96 Shades in Beach Haven, NJ. to help us close out the season! Our Beach Haven location is open through the first weekend of October. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and interpersonal skills, be proficient in English, punctual, driven, and be 18 years or older . Previous customer service and/or sales experience is preferred, but not required. All new team members can expect a range of 24-32 hours per week, with more hours available based on performance. There are also opportunities to work one of our other locations as well as pop up stores, if willing to travel. (Stores are located in Ocean City, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, Cape May, and Avalon).
Pay :
Starts at $18 an hour plus 2% commission on all sales and additional incentives and bonuses.
Responsibilities :
Actively engage customers on the sales floor Help maintain a clean store Assist with inventory when needed Provide exceptional customer service to all client Assist customers with inquiries and picking out a perfect pair for them Demonstrate proficiency in basic math for transactions Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks efficiently Process sales on POS / cash handling
