Responsibilities Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately during retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Manage stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and ensuring store displays are attractive and organized. Handle cashier duties such as balancing the cash drawer, performing basic math calculations for transactions, and maintaining accurate sales records. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or providing information about store products and services. Support the team with supervising experience by mentoring new staff or assisting in training on POS systems and customer service protocols. Promote a positive shopping environment through clear communication skills, friendly attitude, and proactive assistance. Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous. Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
