Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Customer Service Representative I for a contract opportunity in Lancaster, NY.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—professional, concise, and customer-focused.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Order Management — Process new orders, changes, cancellations, and expedite requests for aftermarket spares and repair services.
  • Customer Communication — Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts; provide timely updates on lead times, delays, quality holds, and shipping status.
  • RMA & Warranty Coordination — Initiate and track RMAs, warranty evaluations, and repair orders; communicate inspection findings and final dispositions.
  • Issue Resolution — Investigate shortages, shipment errors, quality concerns, and production delays; collaborate with planning, quality, engineering, and logistics teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(DESIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • Preferably an Associates degree in Business Administration or management
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Accredited High School Diploma or
GED. WORK HOURS
  • Full-Time- Monday-Friday- 08:00am-04:30pm
