  • Position Summary
  • MAG is recruiting for a
  • Ground Systems Controller
  • / Field Service Representitive
  • to support the ULTRA program/contract.
The GSC/FSR functions as a technical expert for ground systems with an emphasis on network maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and general support for the
CONUS ULTRA GCS
in support of operations.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Duties include, but not limited to: + Maintain, configure, and support Ground Control Station (GCS) hardware and softwaresystems.
+ Manage and maintain GCS network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls,and servers. + Ensure reliable operation of LOS and BLOS communication links (SATCOM, RF, andIP-based links). + Perform system updates, upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance withprogram and customer requirements. + Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for GCS and network-related issues. + Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, FSRs, and operational teams basedon customer requirements. + Support system integration, testing, and validation activities. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex GCS and network issues during operations anddeployments.

  • GCS FSR Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • + Demonstrated experience supporting GCS systems and equipment, network infrastructure, or mission-critical control systems + Strong understanding of IP networking (Layer 1-3), including VLANs, routing, and network troubleshooting + Experience supporting Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) datalink and communications systems.
+ Ability to work independently while serving as a technical point of contact. + Strong written and verbal communication skills in customer-facing environments. + CompTIA Security+ certification (required).
  • Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • + Experience supporting aviation, UAS, or defense-related programs. + Familiarity with SATCOM systems and RF networking concepts. + Experience supporting deployed or operational environments. + CompTIA Network+ certification (preferred). + Additional relevant networking or security certifications (e.g., CCNA).
  • Clearance
  • + US Citizen and Active Secret Clearance required CONUS based, with potential for OCONUS travel.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
