Insurance Assistant Customer Service Representative
Job Description
Job Description We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to join our team as an Assistant Customer Service Representative. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance agent or experienced CSR who enjoys servicing clients and supporting an agency, without the pressure of sales. Position Overview This position focuses on servicing existing clients, handling policy changes, and supporting daily agency operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience in insurance or customer service. Responsibilities Assist clients with policy servicing (changes, updates, billing questions, etc.) Answer and route incoming calls professionally Respond to client emails and service requests Process endorsements, certificates, and policy documents Support agents with day-to-day account management Maintain accurate client records and data entry Help ensure a smooth and positive client experience Qualifications Prior experience in insurance or customer service (required) Insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable with agency management systems and basic computer tools comfortable working independently Detail-oriented and able to multitask Reliable and professional Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
