We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment where every interaction matters. At Ark Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional medical care while creating a welcoming and supportive experience for our clients and their pets. Our Client Service Representatives are often the first and last point of contact with our hospital, making this position an essential part of our team. Veterinary Experience Required Applicants must have previous experience working in a veterinary hospital or veterinary client service setting. This position requires familiarity with veterinary terminology, appointment scheduling, client communication, and the unique responsibilities and emotions involved in veterinary medicine. Experience with Cornerstone veterinary software is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Include Welcoming clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answering a high volume of phone calls Scheduling appointments appropriately based on each patient's needs Assisting clients with questions, requests, and follow-up communication Maintaining complete and accurate medical records Communicating effectively with doctors, nurses, and fellow team members Providing compassionate support during both routine and emotional situations Processing payments and reviewing invoices with clients Helping daily hospital operations run smoothly and efficiently Maintaining client and patient confidentiality The Ideal Candidate Is Experienced in veterinary reception or veterinary client service Friendly, professional, compassionate, and dependable Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a busy environment A proactive problem-solver who can think critically and work independently An excellent communicator, both in person and over the phone Able to remain calm and professional during difficult or emotional situations A reliable team member with strong attendance and punctuality Passionate about helping pets and the people who love them Schedule We are currently looking to fill a combination of the following shifts: 12:00 PM-8:00 PM 10:00 AM-6:00
PM Rotating Fridays and Saturdays:
Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM The following Friday off, with a Saturday shift from 7:30 AM-12:00 PM Applicants must be available for these shifts, including the alternating Saturday schedule. Reliable transportation is required, as consistent and dependable attendance is essential for this position. Compensation and Benefits Compensation is based on veterinary experience.
