We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and honest individual to join our retail lumberyard team as a Lumber Yard Customer Service Specialist . This position works directly with both contractors and retail customers and plays an important role in day-to-day sales, inventory control, purchasing, and customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with customers, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced lumber and building materials environment. Responsibilities Assist contractors and retail customers with purchases and general product questions Process charge-account and cash sales accurately Review incoming shipments and verify that receiving paperwork, quantities, and products are correct Properly receive incoming inventory into the system Prepare and place weekly hardware and supply orders with approved vendors Monitor store inventory and replenish retail stock as needed Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and maintenance of perpetual inventory records Maintain an organized and professional retail sales area Communicate with customers, vendors, and other employees to help resolve order or inventory issues Assist with other lumberyard, retail, and operational duties as needed What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Honest and responsible Friendly and professional with customers Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable working with both contractors and homeowners Able to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities Willing to learn lumber, hardware, and building-material products Able to work independently while also being part of a team Previous lumberyard, building-material, hardware, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful, but the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are equally important. Friday:

7:30 AM - 5:00

PM Every Other Saturday:
