Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Perma-Chink Family! We need an experienced Customer Service Representative to join the sales team in our Petersburg, PA store. Perma-Chink is a national specialty building supply manufacturer who sells our products to owners of log homes, in addition to builders and contractors, within a showroom & phone sales atmosphere. You will report to the store manager and become an integral part of our customer service team. At Perma-Chink we believe excellent caring customer service and education about our products is vital for knowing the best way to care for your home.
Position Summary :
Primarily responsible for providing engaging and effective customer service for all Perma-Chink Systems customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. Self-motivation, urgency of responsibilities, integrity, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and vision are essential for this role. Ro l e and Responsibi l it i es : Provide outstanding, seamless customer service. Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, estimate projects, and prepare sales order. Customer sales order data entry, arrange will call pick-ups, and collect payments. Increase sales using your skills. Become trained & stay updated on our products, trends & technical information. Communicate effectively with customers, prospects & co-workers in Knoxville & other stores. Investigate and troubleshoot customer service concerns. Maintain an organized office area & showroom space. Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position. Learn to mix and tint products to the standards set forth in company guidelines.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent experience. Good communication skills, both verbal & written. Excellent listening skills are necessary. Dependable to work regular hours Mon. - Fri. Ability to engage customers to build and maintain lasting relationships. Aptitude for multi-tasking, initiative for self-motivation, & keen problem-solving skills. Detail oriented with accuracy, with a sense of urgency in follow-up with customers, co-workers & logistics. Professional demeanor, business casual appearance; friendly, outgoing personality. Computer, e-mail & data entry skills required. Proficiency in MS Excel & e-mail skills are mandatory. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs. Compen s ation : $19 - $21/hour based on experience. Annual profit-sharing bonus. Paid Time off 104hrs (13 days) accrued the first year. 12 paid holidays; includes a full week off between Christmas and New Year.
