Overview Join our team as an Animal Caretaker and become a vital part of providing compassionate, high-quality care to dogs, cats and other companion animals. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enriching environment that promotes animal welfare and supports the needs of our animal care facility team. Your enthusiasm for animal handling and attention to detail will help ensure every animal receives the best care possible, contributing to their health, comfort, and overall well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a pet boarding facility setting where your skills make a meaningful difference. Duties Assist with daily animal care including feeding, watering, medicating, cleaning enclosures, and maintaining sanitary conditions in kennels, cages, and treatment areas Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury and reduce stress Maintain accurate record keeping of animal care, behaviors, and medical histories in compliance with our protocols Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions and answer basic questions about animal welfare and behavior Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, managing pet files, and ensuring smooth client flow Experience Experience with pet care routines such as feeding schedules, medication administration, and grooming techniques preferred but not necessary as we will provide training to any new employees Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently Strong record keeping skills and attention to detail are required for accurate documentation of the care provided to each pet Join us in creating a caring environment where animals thrive!
