Job Description

Customer Service Representative | Hybrid We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support participants through inbound phone calls and email inquiries. This position focuses on providing excellent customer service, resolving issues efficiently, assisting with online portal navigation, and educating participants on available programs and resources. Responsibilities

+ Handle high-volume inbound calls and assigned email requests while providing professional and helpful customer service.

+ Gather and document participant information accurately and work toward first-call resolution.

+ Assist participants with registration, login issues, password/access concerns, and website navigation.

+ Answer questions regarding programs, applications, and resources available through the participant portal.

+ Educate participants to help reduce repeat calls and improve their overall experience.

+ Escalate complex or non-routine concerns to the appropriate internal teams.

+ Assist participants with completing surveys over the phone.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all participant interactions. Qualifications + 1+ year of call center experience required. + 1-3 years of technical call center, customer service, or transferable experience preferred.

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Strong customer service, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and active listening abilities.

+ Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

+ Professional telephone presence and communication style.

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed.

+ Must successfully complete required background and drug screening.

+ Bilingual Spanish/English is highly preferred and will receive interview preference. Work Schedule & Location

+ Hybrid position with onsite attendance required 2 days per week after successful completion of training and transition to hybrid work.

+ Candidates must live within one hour of the Indianapolis, IN office.

+ Initial training and onboarding are 100% onsite.

+ Employees will continue working onsite for the first few weeks following training before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.

+ Permanent shifts are assigned at the time of offer and may include schedules beginning between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Work-From-Home Requirements Once approved for hybrid work, employees must have:

+ A private workspace with a door.

+ The ability to hardwire the company laptop directly to the internet. Wi-Fi cannot be used.

+ A distraction-free work environment during scheduled working hours.

+ Reliable arrangements for childcare or other caregiving responsibilities during work hours. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has previous inbound call center experience, is comfortable assisting customers with technical or account-related questions, and can efficiently navigate multiple systems while providing a positive customer experience. Strong problem-solving, communication, and de-escalation skills are essential for success in this role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
