Job Description
Job Summary This is a full-time, on-site role for Insurance Customer Service Agents, located in Rockport, TX, open to candidates with or without an insurance license. The CSR/agent will handle inbound and outbound customer communications, assist with policy inquiries, explain coverage options, process changes, and support billing and claims-related questions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate customer records, following up on pending documents, and coordinating with agents and other team members to ensure timely resolution of customer needs. The role involves using agency management systems, adhering to compliance and privacy requirements, and contributing to a positive, professional office environment. Licensed team members may also provide quotes, bind coverage, and assist with policy renewals; unlicensed team members will be supported in obtaining appropriate licensing if required. Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service, Customer Support, and Customer Experience. Ability to foster Customer Satisfaction and work effectively as part of a team of Customer Service Representatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with clear, professional phone and in-person presence. Comfort with computers, office software, and learning insurance or CRM systems; strong attention to detail and accuracy. High level of integrity, reliability, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required. Willingness to pursue and maintain appropriate insurance licenses, with training support provided. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
