This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your insurance expertise and sales skills to build strong client relationships, provide tailored insurance solutions, and grow our customer base. As a licensed P&C producer, you will be responsible for engaging with clients through outside sales efforts, understanding their unique needs, and offering comprehensive property and casualty insurance products. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will drive success in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service and value. Duties Conduct outside sales activities by identifying potential clients and establishing new business opportunities in the community. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through personalized communication, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Present, explain, and customize property and casualty insurance policies to meet client needs while adhering to insurance regulations. Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and pricing with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Manage sales administration tasks including CRM system updates, policy documentation, and benefits administration records. Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for cross-selling health, life, or commercial insurance products. Stay informed about industry regulations, product updates, and competitive landscape to provide accurate advice and maintain compliance. Requirements Valid Michigan P&C insurance license with active status. Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales roles with a focus on customer service. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in English; bilingual skills are a plus. Knowledge of property casualty insurance policies as well as health and life insurance products. Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and analysis purposes. Ability to analyze client needs effectively and deliver tailored insurance solutions. Understanding of insurance regulation requirements within Michigan or relevant jurisdictions. Exceptional customer relationship building skills coupled with a proactive approach to client communication. Multilingual capabilities are desirable to serve diverse communities effectively.
