We're looking for an experienced Team Leader / Lead Detailer who can take ownership of daily jobs, maintain high-quality standards, communicate professionally with customers, and help keep the team running smoothly. This position is for someone who already understands auto detailing and can work independently without being constantly supervised. You will still be detailing vehicles, but you'll also take on small leadership responsibilities that help keep the operation organized. What You'll Actually Do Detailing Perform professional interior and exterior vehicle detailing Follow NorthStar's service and quality standards Inspect vehicles before and after each job Make sure every included service is completed properly Identify additional services that may benefit the customer Customer Service Communicate professionally with customers Explain the services being performed Provide customers with job updates when needed Handle basic customer questions and concerns Represent NorthStar professionally at every appointment Team Leader Responsibilities Help keep daily jobs organized and on schedule Make sure appointments are started and completed on time Communicate immediately if there is a delay, issue, or scheduling problem Help train newer detailers on NorthStar's procedures Check the quality of work when needed Report equipment or supply issues Help management with small day-to-day operational tasks Lead by example with punctuality, communication, and work quality
Important:
You will NOT be responsible for major management decisions, payroll, hiring, or running the entire company. We're looking for someone who can handle the small things that keep the team running smoothly . What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Has at least 3 years of professional auto detailing experience and previous team leadership or supervisory/management experience. Has strong attention to detail Shows up on time and communicates reliably Can work independently Is comfortable speaking with customers Takes pride in their work Can accept feedback and follow company procedures Has leadership potential Can help train and guide newer employees Understands that customer service is just as important as the detail itself This Position Is NOT a
