$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience About the Role We are seeking a Tier 2 Customer Service Representative to provide knowledgeable, empathetic support to members and customers. This role is ideal for someone with experience handling complex customer issues, working with sensitive information, and navigating multiple systems to research and resolve problems. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, adapting to changing processes, and using sound judgment when a specific procedure or standard operating procedure is not available. What You'll Do Provide Tier 2 customer support for members and customers. Research and resolve complex questions and issues that require more than basic troubleshooting. Assist customers with questions related to healthcare benefits, claims, payment cards, and account-related issues. Navigate multiple systems while maintaining accurate customer and account information. Handle sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) with a high level of confidentiality. Work effectively in a fast-changing startup environment where processes and procedures may continue to evolve. Use sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills when a clearly defined process or standard operating procedure is not available. Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve escalated customer issues. Maintain a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused approach in a high-volume environment. What We're Looking For 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a Tier 2, escalated support, or complex customer service environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to research issues, identify solutions, and take ownership of customer concerns. Comfort working with multiple computer systems and applications. Ability to handle sensitive customer, personal, and financial information with confidentiality and discretion. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate customer records. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities, systems, and procedures. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions without relying on highly detailed procedures for every situation. A professional, empathetic, and customer-focused approach. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Healthcare claims or benefits support Health insurance or healthcare organizations Financial services Credit or debit card customer support Benefits administration Escalated or Tier 2 customer service Other customer-facing environments involving sensitive personal or financial information Work Environment This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where processes and procedures may evolve over time. The ideal candidate is adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable using good judgment to solve problems when there isn't a "picture-perfect" procedure for every situation.
