Job Description
Job Overview The ideal candidate should have proven customer service experience and critical thinking skills. Candidate must be proficient in communication, customer service, have a positive attitude, and show initiative. Candidate must be able to use the designated field management system to schedule, dispatch, and manage customer data. You will be required to manage multiple service technicians, coordinate utility locates, follow up with customers when needed, and keep track of specific job requirements (i.e. permitting, inspections, equipment, etc). Industry experience with Plumbing is not a requirement, but is helpful. Pay rate varies based on experience and professionalism, and will be subject to increase based on job performance. Duties Coordinate and schedule plumbing service appointments using the provided resources, ensuring optimal routing and timing. Dispatch plumbing technicians efficiently by utilizing GPS, GIS, and fleet management tools to assign jobs based on location, availability, and skill set. Maintain accurate data entry for all dispatch activities, including job details, technician assignments, and customer information. Communicate clearly with customers via phone etiquette to confirm appointments, provide updates, and address inquiries or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment Strong analysis skills for evaluating routing options, freight schedules, and supply chain logistics to maximize efficiency. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to convey information clearly across multi-line phone systems. Proficiency in data entry and typing accuracy; experience with AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms is advantageous. Knowledge of
