Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) Florence Animal Hospital We are looking for a friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our veterinary hospital team! Our CSRs are an important part of our hospital. You will often be the first and last person our clients interact with , so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, loves animals, communicates well, and can stay calm and organized in a busy environment. If you are someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families, we would love to meet you! What You'll Do Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally Answer a multi-line telephone system and assist clients with questions Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments accurately Check clients and patients in and out of appointments Communicate with clients regarding appointments, services, medications, and general hospital information Accurately enter and update client and patient information Maintain organized and accurate medical records Prepare estimates and treatment plans as directed by the veterinary team Review charges and collect payments accurately Process prescription and medication requests Make follow-up and reminder calls to clients Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and other team members Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Assist with daily hospital tasks and support the team wherever needed Provide compassionate and professional service, especially when clients are stressed or emotional Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality Follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols What We're Looking For Previous customer service experience required Veterinary or medical reception experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, friendly, and compassionate personality Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable discussing services, estimates, and payments with clients Ability to learn veterinary terminology and hospital procedures Comfortable learning and using computer and veterinary practice management software Reliable and dependable Ability to work independently while also functioning well as part of a team Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult or emotional situations High school diploma or equivalent preferred Veterinary experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has strong customer service skills and a great attitude.
Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
