Available Help for . Perform technical services to increase Kane Ace sales, introduce new products, provide technical support to customer's projects and troubleshooting, and product application, and make new target, demonstrate high-level technical and market expertise in the plastics, or related industries. Independently manage technical service, business development and sales activities and retain the assigned account. Keep records of customer's technical issues and resolutions. Present technical data, conduct trials at customer plants, improve product performance. Maintain knowledge of Kaneka's products quality, classification of non-prime material and disposition. Work collaboratively across the globe with headquarters in Japan and offices in Belgium, Brazil and Malaysia, as well as Business travel across North America and Latin America - USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil - supporting Kaneka's customers in those countries/regions. Prepare and deliver technical information for Impact Modifiers, Processing Aids and other Kaneka's additives supporting the development and commercialization of new solutions. Achieve sales targets for the assigned customers/territories/products with moderate-scale and complexity. Pursue and acquire additional sales and projects from the existing customers. Propose products and services which meet the customer's needs with understanding of customer's products, production process, and technical application. Research market situation, pursue new account acquisition, new market, and new product development. Navigate complex customer relationships, establish and maintain good business relationship with assigned customers. Perform joint effort with other functions (e.g., technical service) in sales & marketing and technical services activities, developing collaborative network. Contribute to product development and market strategy. Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, function, or department to facilitate operations and interaction in the organization, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Keep supervisor informed of status and progress, ensuring that regular and periodical communication takes place. Maintain professional and technical knowledge to stay up to date with new trends or changes to current industry standards by attending educational workshops/industry meetings and reviewing professional publications. Establish personal networks and keep abreast of industry trends and related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities. Provide support and advice (in operational aspects) to others with less experience. Support and actively participate in ensuring actions comply with site Corporate Social Responsibility policies, procedures, and identified best practices.

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Materials Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

6 years of progressive technical experience, such as R D, Technical Service, Laboratory, and/or Technical Sales or Business Development, in plastics, or related industries, including experience with account management, upselling, and new business/product development, providing technical support and troubleshooting for polymer or plastics manufacturing processes (e.g., extrusion, injection molding, compounding), managing customer accounts and supporting sales and business development activities, collaborating with cross-functional and international teams, and conducting market research and supporting new business or product development initiatives.

Travel Requirement:

Up to 40% travel to visit domestic and global customer sites and/or Kaneka offices in Japan, Belgium, and Malaysia required.
