Client Service Representative Pet Hospital of Pflugerville Pflugerville, TX Job Details Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Animal hospital experience Communication with pet owners Full Job Description Pet Hospital of Pflugerville | Pflugerville, TX Full-Time | $17-$20/hour, based on experience Help Us Build Something Great From the Beginning Pet Hospital of Pflugerville is a brand-new veterinary hospital opening in early November , and we are looking for an experienced Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. We are building our hospital from the ground up and want people who are excited to help create a workplace where we support one another, take great care of our clients and patients, and genuinely look forward to coming to work. Our ideal CSR is reliable, client and patient focused, proactive, coachable, and flexible . You will often be the first and last person our clients interact with, so excellent communication, organization, and a genuine desire to help people are essential. What You'll Do As a Client Service Representative, you will help create an excellent experience for our clients while keeping the front desk and daily hospital flow organized.
Responsibilities may include:
Greeting clients and patients and creating a welcoming, professional experience Answering incoming phone calls, texts, emails, and other client communications Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and client area Scheduling appointments appropriately based on client and patient needs Checking clients in and out efficiently and accurately Collecting payments and reviewing estimates, invoices, and basic financial information with clients Completing daily closeout procedures, including balancing payments and transactions Maintaining accurate client and patient information in the medical record Communicating appointment preparation, medication, and follow-up information as directed by the medical team Managing prescription and food requests and routing them appropriately Helping clients navigate questions, concerns, and next steps Recognizing urgent patient needs and communicating them promptly to the medical team Working closely with the veterinary and support teams to maintain smooth patient and client flow Learning and effectively utilizing our hospital software, phones, and other technology Proactively identifying problems and helping find solutions Pitching in wherever needed as we establish workflows and build our new hospital together Schedule & Compensation We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of veterinary hospital or related client service experience . Veterinary experience is strongly preferred. Excellent client communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment are important for this role. Pet Hospital of Pflugerville will initially be open Monday through Friday . As the hospital grows, our schedule may expand to include later weekday hours and/or weekends, so flexibility for future scheduling needs is important.
Pay:
$17-$20 per hour, based on experience and skill set. Full-time team members are eligible for our standard benefits package ( Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401k, PTO/Holiday Pay, and Penn Foster Scholarship opportunities available ).
