Trader Job Summary:
Customer Service Specialist (Trading Desk) Texas Precious Metals is seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy Customer Service Specialist to assist clients through both precious metals buying and liquidation processes. This high-trust position demands a strong understanding of market dynamics and commitment to excellence in service and operations.
Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email Maintain expert-level knowledge of precious metals retail products and market trends Execute client orders using discretion and judgment Oversee and ensure prompt processing of abnormal or complex orders Serve as the go-to expert on product, inventory, and shipment questions Assist and represent clients through the entire purchase and liquidation order lifecycle. Assist with daily business operations and ad hoc responsibilities Travel occasionally (less than 10%) All other duties as assigned by management
Customer Service Specialist Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of responsibility Clean and professional appearance
Trader Qualifications:
Some college coursework preferred Experience in non-commissioned sales and or customer service Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and ethical Finance market knowledge beneficial but not required
Work Environment:
Office-based role with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas and outdoor work. May require use of PPE including safety glasses and closed-toe shoes.
