Contract:
6 Months contract to hire We are seeking an experienced Customer Account Specialist to serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customers. This role is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience, managing customer relationships, and supporting order activities from start to finish. The CAS partners with internal teams to resolve issues, meet customer needs, and make decisions that support both customer satisfaction and company goals. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of chemical distribution and grow within the organization. Responsibilities Manage an assigned customer portfolio and build strong, long-term relationships. Serve as the primary customer contact and advocate for customer needs. Coordinate and monitor customer orders and resolve service issues. Partner with internal teams to ensure customer commitments are met. Make decisions that balance customer satisfaction and business objectives. Follow company safety, compliance, and code of conduct requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 3+ years of customer service experience managing a customer portfolio. 3+ years of B2B customer service/service management experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook . SAP and Salesforce experience a plus.
