Job Description
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support daily front desk and customer service operations in Virginia. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping visitors and customers while managing administrative tasks in an office setting. The position offers regular hours with training provided, and success in this role will come from strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors at the front desk and provide a courteous, positive first impression.
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries and direct calls or messages to the appropriate contacts as needed.
- Review customer account information accurately to assist with questions, updates, and service support.
- Perform order entry and other administrative tasks to help maintain smooth daily operations.
- Support both front-facing customer interactions and backend office work when additional coverage is needed.
- Maintain organized records and ensure customer information is handled with care and accuracy.
- Assist with scheduling coverage needs, including making up time during the week when Friday hours are adjusted.
- Participate in training to learn company procedures, service expectations, and internal workflows. Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
- Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Comfort working at a reception or front desk while managing multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Strong data entry and order entry skills with close attention to accuracy.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented approach.
- Basic computer proficiency and confidence navigating customer account information.
- Dependable attendance and flexibility to support a permanent schedule, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
