Guest Service Representative

About us: Kampgrounds of America (KOA) is a leading outdoor recreation company, dedicated to providing exceptional camping experience for all! We are seeking friendly and organized Guest Service Representative to join our team!

Job summary:

As a Guest Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service, making reservations, and ensuring a great camping experience. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality, working in a team and mostly independently, and have great communication skills, we want to hear from you! We provide training but prior POS and customer service experience is preferred. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and register guests, handling check-in/check out processes efficiently.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and changes correctly.
• Answer phone calls, respond voicemails, and resolve guest issues and/or concerns.
• Provide information about the campground, amenities, local attractions, and activities.
• Process payments, handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance the cash register.
• Be able to sell store items.
• Be able to report any issues to a manager or yard person.
• Maintain accurate reports and files.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless campground operations.
• Promote KOA programs, services, and merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and organized front office space and store space.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 at time of hire. If you are still in high school that is fine as long as you are 18.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and weekdays. Must be able to work on Sundays if needed.
• Able to work opening shifts, mid-shifts, and closing shifts.
• Have experience with customer service.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks.

Pay:

$17.63 per hour
