Our Customer Care Specialists are often the first and last people our clients interact with. You'll help clients navigate everything from planned specialty visits to unexpected emergencies and difficult moments with their pets. We're looking for someone who communicates with empathy, enjoys helping people, and is eager to learn and grow. What You'll Do Welcome clients and patients and help identify their needs upon arrival. Answer incoming calls, gather accurate information, and connect clients with the appropriate team or resources. Communicate between clients, veterinarians, clinical teams, and referring veterinary hospitals. Schedule appointments and accurately maintain client and patient information. Help clients navigate estimates, deposits, payments, financial options, and checkout. Manage multiple conversations, requests, and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Support clients with empathy and professionalism during stressful, emotional, or difficult situations. Take ownership of questions and follow through to find the right answer or next step. Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing learning. What We're Looking For Excellent verbal and written communication skills Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help people and their pets Strong typing and computer skills The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy environment Curiosity and a willingness to learn Good judgment, reliability, and follow-through A collaborative approach and openness to feedback and growth Veterinary or animal-care experience is preferred but not required. Strong experience working with people matters too, and we welcome candidates from hospitality, human healthcare, emergency services, administrative roles, or other high-touch customer service environments. Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time position averaging 36-38 hours per week. Our greatest coverage needs are Wednesday through Saturday, with most shifts occurring during morning and daytime hours. Some flexibility may occasionally be needed based on hospital and team needs. The hourly pay range is $22.00-$25.00, based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Eligible swing and overnight hours receive an additional $2.00-$4.50/hour shift differential.
