In Person Job Description Smoke Stacks Inc. is looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys talking with customers, keeping schedules organized, solving everyday problems, and making sure important details don't fall through the cracks. You will be one of the first people our customers speak with, so we're looking for someone who can provide a friendly, professional experience from the first phone call through the completion of their service. Previous chimney or fireplace industry experience is not required. We will provide industry-specific training. What You'll Do As a Customer Service Representative, you will help customers while supporting our technicians and daily office operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming customer calls Scheduling and confirming service appointments Responding to customer questions by phone and email Updating and maintaining the customer schedule Coordinating appointments between customers and technicians Entering and updating customer information Following up with customers as needed Assisting with invoices, payments, and basic paperwork Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records Managing calendars and appointments Assisting with basic administrative duties Supporting technicians and management with daily office needs Helping keep customer communication organized and on schedule What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with people and can stay organized in a busy environment.
A successful candidate should have:
Strong customer service and telephone skills Clear and professional communication Good organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail Basic computer skills Ability to learn new software Ability to handle multiple priorities Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team A helpful, problem-solving attitude Computer Skills Experience with any of the following is helpful: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Email and calendar programs Customer scheduling or CRM software You do not need to know our specific software. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using computers and willing to learn.
