Job Summary/Overview The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer and distributor/channel satisfaction by providing responsive, pleasant and professional assistance. The Customer Service Rep supports customers, distributors, RM's and other Sales Support teams by promptly fielding all incoming phone calls, emails and faxes and handling inquiries for: order status, shipment tracking, shipping/order documents, distributor inquiries, lead time questions, order changes, RMA's, order expediting, troubleshooting, lead distribution to channel and verbal & written parts price quotes. When required, the position also enters orders into the ERP system. This position acts as initial point of contact for customers and distributors with regards to all inquiries other than those for new conveyor applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Providing customers, distributors and sales personnel with order and shipping info, order changes, RMA's, expediting, parts pricing.
Enter orders for standard conveyors.
Lead distribution to channel.
Salesforce navigation and basic information look up.
As qualified & approved my manager/lead provide technical assistance to team members and distributors. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and approach tasks with a sense of urgency.
Attention to detail. Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all areas involved.
Ability to build relationships with a diverse workforce with a highly developed sense of understanding.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities and pace to reflect changing needs or job demands. Required Qualifications 2 + years as a manufacturing customer service representative or 5+ years of technical experience.
Previous ERP and CRM experience is a plus.
