Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington-Normal Audio/Video Tech Job Description Supervisor:

Part-Time Job Summary:
The A/V Tech will work 3-4 hours on Sunday mornings to create fluid and polished audiovisuals at online and in-person worship services for a progressive church. This will include setting up and running sound, lights, cameras, the switcher board, and media from the computer. Occasionally, the A/V Tech may be asked to work at other events. These will be negotiated in advance.
Essential Functions:
Operate multimedia equipment, including TV, projector, microphones, audio mixer, PTZ cameras, sound board, lights, switcher board during worship/other events Set up and take down equipment before and after worship/other event Work with church staff and volunteers to prepare for and present worship services, weddings, and memorials, as well as other church events as negotiated Communicate with Office Manager and Senior Minister about any equipment functioning issues or supply needs
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficient with video conferencing platforms like Zoom, including managing hosting and video/audio input and output Proficient with presentation software (Powerpoint), collaboration software (Google Drive), and video sharing (Youtube) Able to work independently Eager to learn new skills Supportive of Unitarian Universalist values and social justice issues Able to work with persons of all races, ages, economic levels, gender identities and sexual orientations Able to patiently work with persons of all levels of technical competence and ability
Physical Requirements:
Able to operate AV equipment Able to climb four stairs into AV booth
