We are seeking an experienced and motivated AV Support Specialist to join our team. This position combines sales administration, bid and opportunity research, customer follow-up, quoting, contract administration, marketing support, and general assistance to our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and some knowledge of the Audio Visual (AV) industry . The ability to identify AV opportunities, understand customer requirements, and efficiently manage sales-related documentation is essential. Work closely with our partner Lee Hartman and Sons (LHS) Job Responsibilities Research and identify new job and sales opportunities through bid boards, contractor opportunities, and other available sources. Review published opportunities and identify projects that include AV requirements. Provide pre-sales support and assistance to the sales team as needed. Prepare sales quotes for individual equipment and "box" bids. Follow up on completed sales to obtain customer feedback and identify opportunities for continued business. Follow up on pending sales opportunities to determine project status and next steps. Assist with the preparation and entry of change orders. Process sales orders, quotes, change orders, and drop-ship requests accurately and efficiently in Jetbuilt . Assist with maintaining accurate sales and project information. Support marketing strategies and initiatives designed to increase business opportunities and customer engagement. Assist with maintaining purchasing contracts for educational and government agencies Update contract information and communicate changes to the appropriate personnel. Work closely with sales, purchasing, and management to ensure opportunities and customer requirements are properly communicated and followed through. Perform other sales and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in sales administration or a related administrative sales role. Some knowledge or experience within the AV industry strongly preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience processing sales orders, quotes, change orders, and related documentation. Experience with Jetbuilt is preferred, but not required (must have strong computer aptitude). Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team. Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills. Ability to research, understand, and communicate information from bid documents and purchasing contracts. Experience working with government, educational, or other public-sector purchasing contracts is a plus.
