Job Description

Job Summary EAV is seeking an entry level Integrator in East Quogue, NY. This position is perfect for recent tech school graduates eager to advance in a successful home automation company. Candidates will gain exposure to various products and services, along with opportunities for growth and advancement. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience to ensure seamless operation of audio and visual equipment across various environments.
Job Responsibilities Physical Installation:
Pull wire, run cables, snake lines, and install rough-in boxes during the pre-wire phase of construction.
System Assembly:
Help set up TVs, distributed audio, speakers, home theaters, motorized shades, and smart lighting controls.
Networking Support:
Assist with deploying and testing routers, network switches, and wireless access points.
Site Maintenance:
Keep tools, workspaces, and company vehicles clean and organized while working carefully in client properties.
Teamwork:
Communicate clearly with senior technicians, project managers, and other onsite construction trades. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute installations accurately. Conduct software troubleshooting for AV control systems and related applications.
Requirements and Qualifications Technical Aptitude:
An enthusiasm for electronics, basic hand tools, and a quick willingness to learn specialized control systems (like Control4 or Lutron).
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, handle construction environments, and safely work from ladders or heights.
Communication:
A polite, customer-first attitude with professional presentation for luxury residential job sites.
Credentials:
A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

From $21.00 per hour
