Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling with accuracy and integrity. Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert recommendations. Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, assisting in food preparation when needed, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and drink presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing sales transactions and bills. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
