Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Audio Video Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential audio and video systems. In this role, you will ensure that every installation runs smoothly and that systems are customized to meet our clients' unique needs. You will work closely with homeowners to create seamless, high-performance home entertainment and automation experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the installation, setup, and integration of custom audio, video, home theater, and automation systems in residential properties. Provide on-site troubleshooting and resolve any technical issues with audio, video, or automation systems. Work with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored AV solutions. Maintain strong communication with homeowners and project managers to ensure timelines and expectations are met. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and updates to AV systems as necessary. Manage inventory and ensure all AV equipment is properly stored, maintained, and in working order. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and advancements in residential AV systems. Train clients on the use and operation of their new systems, ensuring they feel confident with their technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in home automation or AV technologies (e.g., CEDIA, Crestron, Control4, etc.). Familiarity with 4K, HDR, and other advanced video technologies. Experience with security, lighting, or climate control systems integration in residential projects. Strong knowledge of audio calibration and acoustics.
